Starts October 24th, 2026

Early bird special until Sept 15th

Greetings friends!

Thank you for your interest in the hybrid herbal apprenticeship we are offering this year from October 2026-May 2027. Megan and I have been learning from & teaching about plants for many years now and are excited to share the magic of the green world with you. Our apprenticeship program is an in depth plant journey that we will love to share with you!

This course provides a foundation of herbal medicinal knowledge that will leave you feeling comfortable using herbs for yourself and your family & friends.  You will learn about the plants, their energetics and uses in herbal medicine as well as how to make your own herbal products.  We will create a wide array of herbal formulas from teas to tinctures, lotions, liniments, syrups and more.

The curriculum, at its core, is based on Rosemary Gladstars’ Science and Art of Herbalism, of which both Heather and Megan are graduates. The base curriculum is enhanced by 7 live monthly classes through zoom that will allow for hands-on formula making and herbal education in a small group setting. Cannabis, psilocybin and mindfulness medicine will be interspersed throughout the lessons as well. We will end the program with a weekend together in person at HerbSong Farm in Eugene, Oregon in May of 2027.

This program will be an initimate group- only 6 spaces available.

Testimonials

“Heather Shelton is a generous teacher, and I count myself lucky to be one of her students. As a speaker, she's engaging and has a gift for drawing an audience into learning and trying new things. Her years as a nurse show in everything she does — her compassion, her genuine concern for others, and her willingness to always listen. As an herbalist and healer, Heather brings deep knowledge, decades of experience, and an intuitive sense of what each person needs to become their best self. I'm deeply grateful for the value she's added to my life.” ~M.P.

“I loved the Herbal Apprenticeship with Heather. The best part was that each month we actually got our hands dirty and created something herbal in our kitchens together. This process opened my eyes to realize there is so much wisdom out there that is completely untapped for me in terms of how to use herbs in my every day life. I also really enjoyed the herb walks every session, to see the growth cycle of Heather’s plants over the course of the seasons. “ ~T.L.

“Megan & Heather work together seamlessly to bring their vast knowledge of plant medicine directly to learners in their kitchens and gardens. They offer well-prepared, hand-on experiences making teas, tinctures and salves from both wild-harvested and cultivated plants. Around the kitchen table, tasting & experimentation are actively encouraged - always grounded in their years of practical experience. As a team, their thoughtful prep maximizes every moment, while their warmth and humor make class time fly by. Heather & Megan share a love and respect for the plants, and for each other, that makes the whole learning environment feel like a cozy cup of tea.” ~J.H.
