Greetings friends!

Thank you for your interest in the herbal apprenticeship we are offering at HerbSong Farm in 2026. Megan and I have been learning from & teaching about plants for many years now and are excited to share the magic of the green world with you. Our apprenticeship program is an in depth plant journey that we will love to have you join!

This course provides a foundation of herbal medicinal knowledge that will leave you feeling comfortable using herbs for yourself and your family & friends.  You will learn about the plants, their energetics and uses in herbal medicine as well as how to make your own herbal products.  You will learn how to create a wide array of herbal formulas from teas to tinctures, lotions, liniments, syrups and more.  The curriculum, at its core, is based on Rosemary Gladstars’ Science and Art of Herbalism, of which both Heather and Megan are graduates. The 10 lesson base curriculum is enhanced by in person classes that will allow for hands-on formula making and herbal education in a small group setting. Our in-person class days will be based on what plants are speaking up that month- allowing the wise elders to lead the journey!

Program details:

  • This course will be held over 10 months from February through November.  We plan to hold 6 in-person classes at HerbSong Farm as well as provide additional online meetings and resources. This provides time for questions, additional teachings, lessons from the plants and hands on project time. 

  • You will receive Rosemary Gladstar’s Science and Art of Herbalism 10 lesson curriculum binder($375 value)

  •  We provide correction and feedback of all homework turned in over the course of the year.

  • You will be provided a list of course materials, supplemented with herbs from the gardens and apothecary.  Many of the tools needed are already in your kitchen!

  • Upon completion of the 10 month class, you receive certificates from both HerbSong Farm and Rosemary Gladstar.  You will also receive your moon necklace.
